About Golf Depends
Golf is a very enjoyable game. You can ask just about anyone who plays and they’ll vouch for that. But then this doesn’t mean that all of them will also fabricate a lie and tell you that the game was not daunting as a beginner. Golf is indeed an intimidating sport for most, at first of course. And we, at Golf Depends, are here precisely to help you take that plunge.
Every little aspect you’d want to know and understand about golf is discussed at length on Golf Depends; because the game can seem terribly complicated if you’re inexperienced. After all, there are just too many rules. And let’s not forget about the sheer number of golf club options too that are now available.
At Golf Depends, our very language consists of golf rules and equipment. Birdies, bogeys, putters, wedges, backswing, downswing, and so much more. It’s the language we speak all the time, which is something that often scares prospective golfers.
But it’s no big deal if you don’t know anything about golf. That’s exactly what we don’t want you to know in order to become a dedicated member of our golf community here. We talk about the different types and models of golf clubs, about how to practice and hone golfing skills, and, in general, what to expect from your every round of golf.
At Golf Depends, no question, concern, or subject you may have in mind is dumb, elementary, or unanswerable. Our golf gear product reviews (includes golf clubs, golf balls, golf bags, etc.), in particular, are all the rage. And that’s because these reviews are read by golfers of all skill levels, be it beginners, low handicappers, or weekend golfers.
Our Mission In One Sentence:
"At Golf Depends, our priority is to bridge the gap between having fun at the golf course and also becoming a more serious player."
Carolyn Heller – About the Founder & Author
Now here’s the force behind the golf machine that Golf Depends is slowly churning out to be. No doubt, she’s a professional golfer. But what you probably don’t know is that Carolyn Heller is also a part of the National Golf Foundation.
So now you understand where her professional experience and expertise come from. She has been golfing for as long as she can remember. Her passion for the game goes back to when she was just a kid who used to accompany her father to the golf course only on weekends.
"That’s the thing about golf,” she says “it’s relaxing, fun, challenging, and rewarding all at the same time and that really fascinated me, so I wanted to find out what the fuss was all about."
She quotes Arnold Palmer (PGA Tour Champion) at this point – what other people may find in poetry and museums, I find in the flight of a good drive.
That explains how she has won awards over the long (over 15 years) and extensive course of her professional golfing career. She works with pro-level golfers and trainers on a daily basis to manage expectations on the golf course in order to learn and succeed. So Carolyn Heller has a very profound understanding of what equipment really makes an impact.
Her Mission In One Sentence:
“I struggled for many years on the golf course trying to get better; little did I know at the time that it was only getting the fundamentals right that helped to elevate my performance, so I’m here today precisely to guide you to develop a seamless foundation in the most effortless way possible.”
